Yoga for Healthy Joints

Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:15 p.m.

Stretch and strengthen through mindful movement to keep your joints healthy and moving well so you can do the daily activities that you love to do.

  • Explore movement that feelings good in your body.

  • Release tension and stiffness

  • Build strength to support the joints and keep them moving well.

  • Cultivate mindfulness and breath awareness.

Based on the needs and requests of students, class includes both stretching and strengthening through mindful movement and yoga poses to explore mobility, cultivate mindfulness, develop functional movements patterns, and promote stability in body and mind.

We will spend time on the floor, on hands and knees, as well as seated in a chair and standing.

Modifications will be given throughout, and students will be encouraged to explore how they are moving mindfully and easefully to determine which movements serve them best.

Class will begin with breath work and end with shavasana to relax and allow for integration.

This class is accessible for students who can get down to and up from the floor (props are available for extra support in this movement).

MISSED CLASSES: Because your registration fee saves your spot in the class for the entire session, refunds and prorating are not available for missed classes.
